Bill's sister and my sister-by-marriage, Marilyn Martin, lives in Henderson, TX. We get to spend a bit of time together whenever Bill and I are in the neighborhood. One of Marilyn's three children, Laurie Bass Belcher, and her husband, Ronnie, live here as well. It always feels good to stop by and enjoy being family.
Marilyn had made arrangements for me to have a hot stone massage. I am here to tell you that the deep penetration of heat helped my sore body immensely.
Laurie, Ronnie, Marilyn, Bill and I, the photographer, went out to dinner.
We all made it into this self-timed shot.
Bill and I returned to the campground talking about our soon moving on toward a visit with Mom and Dad Anderson in Kingwood, TX. Shortly after arriving at our little house we received a call from Larry Anderson. Mom A. had died earlier that day, April 2. See the blog on Mom Anderson.
We all love time out-of-doors whether eating, walking, sleeping, reading, knitting, doing crosswords, or teaching Flat Stanley what to listen and look for. We took a full morning and half the afternoon to sit in the woods with a water view.
Laurie, Ronnie, and Marilyn came to Martins Creek to see the Casita and to visit with us before we all went to dinner (supper in the South) at a Texas Barbecue Joint.
Ronnie and Laurie were tickled to meet Flat Stanley.

The next day,
Bill and I stopped by to talk with the owners of another Casita. They did not know about the rally at Bandera.
We visited with the Belchers at their home. Bill downloaded more accurate information for Nell, the GPS, and we had a nice, casual dinner together.

I spent some time on the shaded back porch with the sound of deep chimes and pretty things to look at.
